Everyone else was trying to condemn Minsky based on just as little evidence. Why is that OK but defending him isn't? I am not trying to claim Stallman isn't strange and insensitive. He is unlikable and unpleasant to be around. I just don't think that's such a big deal. Our society tends to condemn the honest weirdo but ignore the charismatic predator. That has got to change. |
