> From what I understand, most hunters take headshots because Hippos are typically mostly submerged. If it's active defence against a Hippo charging at you, "running into your yard" then the Hippo is not mostly submerged. If you need to clear the swamp of those pesky Hippos before they kill again, then sure. |
