I hadn't heard of this gizmo, seems to be a small e-ink display on an rpi:

I bought a Pico H and a Pimoroni Display Pack with the idea of making a custom clock for a gift. I didn't realize that some of Pimoroni's displays already have an RP2040 chip onboard, or in this case an entire Pico W.

I don't really need wireless, but the real-time clock would be handy.

There's also https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/tufty-2040 which is neat (but no RTC so maybe less interesting to you).
Fist I also thought about a self made display and then realized it exists already.
