Where did you manage to find one (presumably the AOM-SXMV)? They don't seem easy to come by.

I found one on ebay. If you call around to a few supermicro vendors, i'd bet that eventually one will be willing to sell you one.

I suspect that it might run on 8 PCIe lanes as only one of the connectors is populated. Might be worth a shot.
