Even on most overpriced and insane modern nvme consumer SSDs you'd see numbers like that: Seq Writes 7000 MiB/s; Rand 4k Writes: 44 MiB/s. And the last number haven't really improved over the years. Yeah, it's better compared to (1 MiB/s writes;8 MiB/s reads) on HDDs, but it's not that good. |
