And they are based, after having replaced a bunch of national predecessors like DIN, on an EU regulation providing the legal basis for them. Ehich makes Apples bahvior even worse, litterally everybody else managed to agree on common standards, but thay had to insist on proprietary tech to the point they got their set of legislation. |
