I fail to see how Apple is his "best" company in the sense of it having sufficient 'moatyness'.

It's products rely on consumers continuing to find their products fashionable which in my opinion can change with the wind.

Additionally as Apple becomes more vertically integrated they risk becoming increasingly stuck in one position and less flexible if consumer desires change or competitive technology out performs Apple's products.
