Isn't socialism in some form or another what like almost the entire world already runs under?

Not really. By definition socialism relates to common ownership of the means of production. There are not so many examples of that.
Is there a causal path from the Manhattan Project to Supercomputers? FDR championed the New Deal and did secretly back the Manhattan Project.

I said in one form or another. Roads are a public owned means to distribute goods in America. Most of the world has socialist medicine.
