Email: luke@luketully.ca (mostly) Frontend Developer with ~8 y.o.e looking for a new role to start in June, fresh off a ~1 1/3 year term working on a web-based building management system, specifically migrating from Angular 1.x and React class components to React Hooks/Typescript/Redux. Learned a lot, but layoffs hit since commercial real estate is losing money. Worked with a small team who's size fluctuated between 5 and 9 as I followed the original German startup through an acquisition of a major U.S company. Most of my experience is not greenfield—not that I'd shy away from anything—it's heavier on contributing to larger established complex codebases with immediate team sizes of 5-10. I'd like to build on my skills as a frontend engineer going forward, though I'm not strictly looking for an IC role and don't have strict technology preferences, I'm mainly interested in delivering value and solving some interesting problems along the way. |
