I'll believe it when I start seeing crypto companies try their best to play within the lines. The plea for "someone, anyone, please regulate us!" is totally PR. They get far enough in the process, realize that they'll have to do things they don't want to do (KYC, spend on compliance, not offer certain crypto) and they balk at it. It's a power struggle too! The regulators aren't used to attitude, and they don't love it. The big banks have learned how to toe the line and its time for cypto to do the same.
