The first time I've put on a VR headset was for vestibular rehabilitation. They had different simulations to fight dizziness, although in the end my cause was different so it had little (positive) effects on me. But it really opened me to the possibilities of the tech outside of gaming and consumer applications. It can probably have a massive impact in cognitive behavioral therapy or for training (I believe I spotted a few setups to train soldiers to use Javelins in Ukraine) |

I would love to hear more examples of how VR and AR are being used in novel and innovative ways, particularly in fields that might not immediately come to mind. It's exciting to think about the potential for these technologies to transform the way we approach healthcare, education, and even workplace training.
