Rebranding or Not

Hey guys, I have recently launched a simple diary app and got a blog up with over 60 pages, over 500 downloads and around 50 active users, The app ist currently called memoiri, but I was thinking to rename it to something more search friendly, like dialy diary, or morning diary. What do you think? Should I rebrand in favor of Search optmization?

Any generic name is NOT search friendly and NOT trademark friendly. Think of a distinctive name for your app before it's too late.

For search optimization purposes, nothing forbids you from writing about your "X daily diary app", "formerly called Y", and so on.

Reading "memoiri" and "dialy" suggests that you have spelling difficulties that, for the purpose of naming and SEO, might cause serious problems directly and suggest careless writing.

memoiri is actually "cutefied" word of memoir.

"Memoiri" looks like a random misspelling of "Memoir", and that's why I failed to find your app on Google the first time I tried.

Both on Google and Bing, a search for "Memoiri" leads to you, but the first page of results for "diary app" doesn't: you seem to need better promotion much more than a better name.
