The post in French did not mention how long they had been studying. That came in a later comment, so that wasn't part of my thinking. I think you're right that B1 in a year would require more work than a casual 2 classes per week. So I wasn't giving B1 as a benchmark for any amount of time, because no amount of time was given in the post I responded to. I was just answering the question about the quality of their French, since they had asked that in their post. |
