This is me making up head cannon and has no basis in any sort of fact. I'm totally excited to be wrong about this but I bet in 10 years we find out that all the lame metaverse shit was stuff Zuck was contractually obligated to do and the reasons JC left was he was sure Zuck didn't really want to work on interesting things and he left and he made Mark have to go parade himself into the world and make a tool out of himself.

Also, I 100% support Mark's rights to his ownership of his company and to totally torch something so great in the way he did it. It was absolutely choice to watch.
