As a best practice, if you're being paid to write code you should make sure your corporate lawyers are okay with rolling the dice with these tools. The number of legal unknowns here is astounding.

Using randomly generated code with dubious copyright and licensing information is an excellent way to be ridiculed on the Internet for the rest of your life. Rightfully so.

The world doesn't need another generation of developers too stupid and lazy to implement leftpad. It desperately needs real innovators creating genuinely new things. AI might help with labor intensive tasks, but it's far cry from what the hype makes it out to be.
