The way I get around this is by just saving the bits of articles I find interesting for later full-text search, and on the side I make topic-specific feeds of what I'm saving available via RSS for others to subscribe to.[1] This paradigm shift from saving/bookmarking entire articles to saving highlights has worked really well for me, maybe it could work for you?
