I think I would also get used to using colemak after a while, but I wanted hjkl to be on hjkl and if I remapped one thing then I lost some other key, thus I decided to go all out and just remap everything.

If you will never use vim without your vimrc it's good, otherwise your muscle memory will work against you.

Well the generated remaps are a single .vim file, even on a different machine I can just grab it from my sourcehut.
