He doesn't name names. It's just "the woke left." I'm pretty left, and I have a big problem with China's treatment of the Uyghurs. I don't buy that this piece, or its author, is serious.

If someone uses the phrase "the woke left" you have to question their impartiality.

Also, not caring about people outside your country seems to me to be a property of the right. "America first" , etc
