You or anyone else may no longer "publicly" use Rust or any things which is publicly associated with the language/ecosystem without explicit approval or license from the Rust Foundation's. Also: Getting the Rust Foundation's approval depends on you adhering to their political views, on all things from gun-control to gender-identity. That's quite extreme for a programming language, and the community is in uproar about the foundation being this tone-deaf. |
