Yes, they has been affected. It has more Arabic loanwords (in use) than the rest of Spain. Such as "babuchas" for sneakers/slippers instead of zapatillas. But of course lots of words from the New World's Native Trives arrived to Spain: poncho, chocolate, coyote, cacahuete... |
