Defense always has the weak hand. A malicious group with $5 million to fund hacking will defeat an organization with $500 million in defense. The only reason organizations survive is that there's far fewer hackers than organizations in the world and most hackers don't have a lot of resources, even with their offensive advantage. Add AI to the mix and the effective available resources become much more equalized. |
