While I don't know if I "bombed it" per-se, I told a HR guy and a senior systems architect that I didn't have any experience with fibrechannel and SAN because it's too expensive for regular joe's to get into.

(I've since been told the position is still available, because there are two available and they haven't decided who is filling that other position on top of the one I applied for)
