I have a Brother monochrome printer too and it's been a great machine. I just want to caution people that while they are much more reliable than an inkjet, they still require _some_ maintenance every so often. In my case, I had to buy a new (aftermarket) drum unit, and have to go in and clean the rollers, and dust it out every one in a while. I suspect most owners don't do these things and decide to just buy a new one every 5 years or so. |
