I guess it's true that there would be no more war if everyone just rolled over any time a tyrant wanted to conquer a territory. But I think you can agree that wouldn't mean an end to the worst aspects of war, correct? Once the tyrant conquers, the death and oppression doesn't abate. At some point, people have to fight back, and we call that war. No one wants to be in a war except malignant psychopaths like Putin. But once you are, the only way back is through. |
