GM is operating based on fear here — just as carriers were terrified of being "dumb pipes", vehicle makers are terrified of being "dumb boxes". Somehow GM is under the delusion that Google is their friend, and that alienating Apple users won't impact vehicle buying decisions. GM will learn the hard way that both are incorrect. |
