We're working as an internal dev team for a moderately large company and the challenge is that very few people have to maintain a ton of business automation. We love our Python+Django stack as it gives it a ton of productivity, but as our business and data grows, some things are becoming quite slow. For now, we're getting away with Python-only optimizations and relying on cPython improvements. Still, some processes take a few minutes and a lot of that is spent just because Python is quite slow. In that sense, yes, it happens for CRUD+ applications (which I consider our CRM+ERP to be). |
