Your situation is almost a carbon copy of mine. It's hard to tell If I should keep trying, or just accept that I missed the window and just try to do a little freelancing/make small app store apps for a few bucks on the side. I hope your luck gets better.

I honestly still don't know, but the information given has been helpful. I really hate all of this stuff because I just want to work, but I think the other commenter is correct in that it's sonewhat a marketing problem.
