Consulting? I made close to a six-figures in the last 6 months doing consulting about React stuff. The React stack is very complex. However, it enables very junior "devs" to get productive really fast while knowing little about computers. The trouble happens when the organization has no senior devs and hits issues that no one there can solve.

The trick is finding these organizations and also introducing yourself as a different proposition to everyone out there. It would help if you know your stuff very well too. I guess this becomes more of a marketing/networking task than anything else.
