At least you don't have cancer. I worked for Atlassian, and my wife was fighting cancer. She had one of the two very important surgeries when she wasn't even able to move. They fired me the next day after the first surgery. I remember I was running at home like crazy, making soups and preparing food, and attending meeting with Atlassian where they said - "you are fired". |
