Yes, "The Road Ahead" (IIRC), First Edition, had nothing at all about the Internet even though the Internet was already in existence and had been for at least 10-15 years. I'll give Gates kudos though. When he realised that Windows 95 could be a disaster in the Internet age, he brought MSFT up to speed with the Internet in a very short six months or so. |
