What a ridiculous idea.

Highways restrict movement to those with a license, a car, and do not care about pollution or anyone around them.

In no way did highways restrict movement. They may have not given everyone the exact same freedom of movement but it did, in fact, increase the freedom of movement of the populaces as a whole.
My experience in the States, staying at a hotel 100m away from a restaurant and not being able to reach it by foot, says otherwise...
This is the single most American thing I’ve seen on this terrible website.
