Gaming now is much better than the early 2000s. There were some great games back then, but these days there is more quality and variety in every dimension and in nearly every genre (except RTS games which got split into MOBAs and factory games). Just think about modern games like Elden Ring, BoTW, Overwatch, TLOU2, Immortality, Celeste and Hades, just to name some of the more popular yet interesting titles that came to mind. |
