You are missing the important point: The blame for all negative outcomes in LATAM is alway, always, always outward-facing. If you observe what they are saying you’d think these are perfect societies where everyone would have pink unicorns and bubble gum, were it not for external evil actors. And, of course, the US and the IMF are at the top of the blame list. |
