Hey there! I felt the same way.. newsletter should be simple.. it's email after all. I'm currently building a service that quite possibly will be _the_ fastest and simplest way to start a newsletter.

TLDR; open up gmail (or whatever email provider you use), and send an email to my service's address. We then send it out to all your subs.

You'll get a simple landing page with an archive list and an input for readers to subscribe. You honestly don't even need to login to the platform much at all except to see your newsletter stats (open rate, subscribers, etc.)

Also, the content lives with you and your inbox. No lock in at all.
