At least for the first request, Pop OS is a fantastic replacement for the Mac. It the system 76 variant and is based on Ubuntu. I switched last year and have been blown away at how far desktop Linux has come I use it full time for work and home. Chrome, VS Code and Steam all work flawlessly. It's also nice to be able to develop software in containers without needing any VM layer. |
