Sometimes the lines between visuals and hallucinations can be blurred. On LSD, when I am in an unfamiliar environment or looking at an unfamiliar scene, I can indeed be in a situation where I don't know whether what I'm looking at is real or not. The issue is I don't have any baseline to compare it against, so I can't tell what's a hallucination and what isn't. ...Of course, I still know I'm on drugs and not seeing the world as it is. |
