One thing I hate MSFT is that once they have a hit product with a name. Anything follows, related or not. will have ride on it and eventually made it meaningless. It was ActiveXXX, it was XboxXXX, it was .NET XXX, it was PowerXXX, now it's Copilot.

Their marketing team need to understand brand names carries weight and if you stuff too many unrelated in the name loses it and will confuse consumers. It's not a good idea.

I'm more upset about sticking with the terrible name "365" to refer to what I'll always think of as MS Office. Leave it to corporate branding by committee to seriously accept naming a productivity suite after something as inherently ambiguous and insipid as the (rounded) number of days in a year.
How is this not related to Github Copilot? They both use AI to generate suggestions.
