The attraction for me is that although I've always been able to hack electronics and stuff (and did quite a bit when I was younger), I just don't have the time. I'm a software hacker through and through, and that's where I want to spend my most limited resource. Having some hardware that takes care of most of the heavy lifting in that space is very appealling. |
