On the same note, I find it very annoying that my AirPods dont work with msteams. It used to work on my iphone but now even that doesnt work, I have to take one out, otherwise the airpods are trapped in a disconnect-reconnect loop.

I feel teleported to the stone age everytime I have to switch to my wired earbuds, just to attend my daily. And theres nothing I can do as a user other than buy another pair of earphones.

Are you sure you're not having some kind of weird hardware issue? I've been using AirPods Pro 1 & 2 for a few years and they are working fine with Teams. I don't have the regular version, only the pro, so there's a small chance that this is only limited to that.

I think you may have some issue with your hardware. I have 3 generations of airpods and they all work with Teams across my iPhone, MacBook Pro and even on my Windows 10 desktop.
