GitLab increased their prices significantly in the past two years, which resulted in them being less competitive on price than GitHub and others https://about.gitlab.com/blog/2023/03/02/gitlab-premium-upda... As others have pointed out in comments, their features seem to be incomplete but I think it's their higher price points that pushed users away. |
