All of my early experiments were about increasing conversion rate for Travelocity. I learned a few key things from this:

* Placement of content is extremely important for sales.

* Ultimately the three qualities that define success are product durability, product speed, and inventory. If you get those three right you will be ok. If not, nothing else matters even if you have the best marketing and branding in the industry.
