I think you are in a position to be the “king behind the curtains”: your product managers and architects depend on you to get their job done. Take advantage of that (in a good sense) and: ask for salary raises, and get more time off (which you could use to slowly start your own business). If you want recognition, well, find another job. But judging by the amount of years of experience you have, I would say you are in your middle thirties (maybe forties), so imho you should maximize compensation and free time (instead of ego/recognition).
