I work in a small startup with a headcount around ~30 employees. Although they are fully remote, employees can optionally work on the office, which is an open plan workspace. It really does work for me. We have desks that could support about 25 people, but very rarely there are more than 8 present, so it doesn't feel crowded. I also like most of my coworkers, and that's a key part of it. I wouldn't want it to change to a cubicles workspace if I have the opportunity to just work from home when I'm not feeling like interacting with people. |
