Careful, your phrasing makes it seem like you mean that making DST permanent is a bad idea. Your links argue the opposite: that making DST permanent is much healthier than switching back & forth.

Sleep experts largely agree that permanent DST is bad, and that if we're going to stop switching, it should be permanent standard time.
The cited work is clear that if we care about health, we should not make DST permanent, but rather abolish it altogether.
