I mostly follow the PC scene, and I'd recommend checking out demos by Fairlight&CNCD, MFX, Kewlers, Orange, Still, Quite, Logicoma, and if you're into those then check out other groups that get 'greets' from these ones (a section of many demoscene productions where groups greet each other by name).
