The IPCC fact sheet on Africa [1] confirms the core point of the GP: Africa has been and will continue to be disproportionately affected by climate change. The African _continent_ would be best served by every possible acceleration of green energy initiatives that would hold climate change below 2 degrees (an increasingly unlikely goal). There has been continuous hypocrisy in the West over climate change.
