For me it is the other way around. Scientist sound like laymen in philosophy when they want to bring their data into a larger context. They stumble to explain why certain connection can/cannot be made and how they come up with the implications. ^This applies mostly to epistemology. I like my philosophy in the format of what the youth calls 'schizo-posts'. Weird, out-there, grasping to find right words and closer to art than anything else. |
