Why are you trying so hard? Is your company going to reward you, or the slacker, differently because of how you're doing your job? It sounds like you may wish for ownership, where your efforts returns' accrue to you and not the employers. Don't ascribe it to this job if it's not there: the personal satisfaction of doing things well is great but you can pour your heart out for other's enrichment and they'll never even thank you. |
