The proper way to charge for search is free with ads with an optional premium model that promises not to data mine you or show ads. I would pay for Google search if they removed all the ads, and as a bonus aggressively de-ranked content that was primarily focused on ads rather than useful information. There will be a company that dethrones Google in search, but it might take some time |
