“I’m sorry I acted badly” is very different than “I’m sorry someone else misled me” One doesn’t take on any blame himself and doesn’t acknowledge his bad behaviour. So yes , this is not enough because it’s just him eating crow while trying to save face. He hasn’t actually apologized for the actual issue. |
